Sister Paula Laschenski, a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur, born in Philadelphia, PA, died peacefully on Jan. 18, 2026 at the age of 97, in the 79th year of her religious life. Her passing is mourned by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and many loving friends. Her parents and siblings preceded her in death. Sister’s ministry as educator, social advocate, and graphic artist took her to NY, MD, DC, PA, VA, WV, and SC. After her retirement Sister Paula served her community as an artist and in a ministry of prayer.
The visitation will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. at Mt. Notre Dame Health Center, 699 E. Columbia Ave, Cincinnati, OH (513-821-7448), followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. and interment.
