Dr. Cecelia Dorger
Dr. Cecelia Dorger is an art historian and author who specializes in sacred art, particularly images of the Virgin Mary. She taught art history at Mount St. Joseph University for 28 years and currently teaches at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology. Working with local artist Holly Schapker, Cecelia co-authored the book Universal Mother: A Journal for Finding Yourself in Mary. She and her husband live in Kentucky and have two married children and are blessed with several grandchildren.
