Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr
Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr was the tenth Archbishop of Cincinnati. A native of Sheldon, Iowa, he was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Sioux City in 1974. He was ordained Bishop of the Diocese of Duluth, Minnesota in 2001 and was appointed Archbishop of Cincinnati in 2009. He served as Archbishop of Cincinnati until his retirement from active ministry in 2025.
